During my trip to San Diego, California, my friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa. This hotel is by far one of the best we have ever experienced in the United States for several reasons.
First of all, the property is HUGE, it actually happens to be an entire island with lush foliage!! The rooms here are private thanks to them being separated into houses and our room had a gorgeous ocean view directly from the patio. All of the amenities on the property are within walking distance, however, there is also the option to be picked up by a golf cart to get around.

There are some great dining options at Paradise Point Resort & Spa.
One morning we enjoyed coffee and omelettes for breakfast at Barefoot Bar & Grill and the following morning we ordered room service. For dinner on our first evening we visited Tidal restaurant, where they were having a seafood night. The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic, but unfortunately, we found the food to be too spicy for our taste, which we did not expect from a seafood night.

By far the stars of Paradise Point Resort & Spa were the cute ducks and other birds that wander around the property. You can even ask for duck food at the reception and feed them anytime you want!
The hotel has several amenities to keep you busy that include five pools and a nice beach to sunbathe on with a BBQ area. At night, there is a fire pit to hang out by and we saw some people enjoying the jacuzzi in one of the pool areas. There is also a beautiful spa at the hotel and a convenience store.
On our last day at Paradise Point Resort & Spa, we ordered pizza (that was really good!) for our train ride. We chose to take the train from San Diego to LA because the views are stunning, and the track is oceanside!

I highly recommend visiting Paradise Point Resort & Spa if you plan on visiting San Diego. The hotel is very secluded and calm as it is tucked away from the craziness of the city, making it the perfect place to relax.
